A glassware is a vessel made of glass. Glass art in China has maintained a continuous development history of thousands of years. During the Reign of Emperor Wanli of the Ming Dynasty, the material production in Boshan, Shandong province, was very prosperous. It was introduced to Beijing in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. In the Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong periods of the early Qing Dynasty, the production of glazed tiles was once revived. During this period, the variety of glassware rich and colorful, modeling and decoration also changed. Bottles, bowls, snuff bottles and animals made of imitated jade, jadeite, agate and coral have vivid colors and unique styles.
